The students at Plainview Primary School got a very special visit on Friday from Smokey the Bear. Smokey wanted to talk to the students about the importance of fire prevention.
The students were asked to prepare posters depicting how they can help Smokey the Bear to prevent fires. There was a tie for the winning poster. The winners were Kiera Lewis from Mrs. Bethea’s Class and Cedric Candelaria from Mrs. Sholar’s class.
