The possibility of snow for Bladen County this weekend is low, according to Michael Colby with the National Weather Service Office in Wilmington.
Colby said that forecast models show the probability of some winter precipitation developing late on Saturday and early on Sunday with the best possibility for accumulating snow to occur in the mountains and foothills of North Carolina. The forecast graphic below shows the probability in percent, of accumulating snow late Saturday and early Sunday, very low chances for SE NC and NE SC.
Colby added that long range models show another potential for snow next Tuesday over Southeastern North Carolina and Northeastern South Carolina.
