Thoughts While Shaving
Spread the love

Thoughts While ShavingThursday was a busy, interesting, fun, day….

Bladen We Care’s golf tournament was as good as it gets…Great turnout…over 50 teams….good food in the early AM and at noontime and the best golf course ever to play on…More cars than I have ever seen at the golf course…Parking lot was full and cars parked along the roadside to near Teal drive….

In fact, so much traffic the Bladen County Sheriff’s Department and NC Highway patrol gave a little extra attention to the site to hopefully avoid problems…It worked, thanks to all.

Bill Augustine provided a great golf course and Bobby Davis ran a great tournament and several local restaurants provided food and Cheerwine, folks provided a BBQ lunch….There were others….Thanks to all…

Will not have any info on dollars for Bladen We Care until all bills are paid and all funds collected.

All money raised goes to help Bladen County residents.

Then, a salute to the sheriff’s folks….a rash of break-ins in the Kelly area over the past few days is hopefully over….not forever unfortunately…but one suspect is off the streets for a few days…Can’t hold them forever on the charges but hopefully it will slow the activity some….Good folks around the county cheer on our law enforcement….We can all help by being observant.

Law enforcement from in the county and outside the borders assisted.  (see article)

This promises to be a very busy weekend….weather improves and activity picks up…

What do you call an early AM volunteer?   ADewSomething

Volunteering: we don’t pay, so no, you can’t quit.

The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is just that little extra.
