I watched some of the Washington hearings yesterday, and quiet frankly, I was so disappointed in our elected officials. America should come first, but what I see is Democrats and Republicans more concerned about party than the concerns of the ‘big picture.’ I would like to see Russia operatives sent to prison and those who leak confidential info, same sentence. My guess is few offices of elected or appointed officials are exempt from illegal ‘leaks.’
Who can we trust, elected or appointed? Very few. Sad, sad.
Were votes changed at the polls? NO, but most attempts are designed to provide information that helps us decide who we will vote for. That is what news releases, TV and newspaper ads, direct mail, etc. are designed to do. Politicians and other political operatives spend millions, maybe billions in an effort to influence our thoughts and how we vote.
Identify the guilty and send them to prison for a long time.
One more thought about events of today. When was the last time you heard of anyone charged with perjury (lying)?
