Winter is here, trees look the part.
Looking back, it has been an interesting year. Rain, drought, then much rain and high winds before colder weather. I love calling North Carolina home.

Listening to Christmas music, especially the older carols, brings back so many wonderful memories.
I am impressed with organizations that attempt to make Christmas special for youngsters who have little to look forward to this time of the year.
There are enough warm jackets/coats hanging in closets in the area to keep many warm, coats that haven’t been worn in years. Let’s pull them out and give to those without.
So much litter along our roadways. I wonder if residences of those who litter our great outdoors, do the same at home?
