Thoughts While ShavingMy kinda snow. The yard is covered at noontime, not a sign of the white stuff by late afternoon.

Thinking about adjustments since retirement. Mail box is empty, except for monthly bills, phone is silent, except for family and a few close friends, and much less travel, short trips on Thursday evening for a meal with siblings, and an occasional get-together with other good friends. I recommend retirement, but there are some adjustments to be made.

I still like Gov. Kasich, thought he was the best candidate for president, but as usual, I was wrong. He has stated again, the two parties need to get together and work on legislation. We are all farmers tending a little part of the Lord’s vineyard. Sheri L. Dew

As long as there’s a few farmers out there, we’ll keep fighting for them. Willie Nelson

I’m glad I don’t have to make a living farming. Too much hard work. Too many variables you don’t have control over, like, is it going to rain? All I can say is, God bless the real farmers out there. Fuzzy Zoeller Pro Golfer
