A reminder, after all is said and done….check FactCheck.org. Both have a bad habit of s-t-r-e-c-h-i-n-g the truth, may even include an out right untruth. Isn’t that sad? And one will be our leader.
We lost an American hero over the weekend. Arnold Palmer, a longtime golfer and all round good guy died. He was in his late 80s. He is a Wake Forest University grad.
Many years ago, I recall he was invited to play golf with President Eisenhower. Pretty cool.
Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player were powerful ambassadors for the game of golf for many years, all good folks.
Still disappoints me that outsiders from ‘who knows where’ can spend millions of dollars to influence national and state-wide elections and we have little idea of who is behind the effort. Oh, I know, they use some fancy name, but who…..and why? And, the Supreme Court ruled it is OK.
Hope folks in Charlotte can calm the trouble waters related to their recent problems. No winners.
