HOLLY SPRINGS – West Bladen grad Trevor Lesane blasted a 2-run home run Tuesday, but his Wake Tech Community College Eagles were edged 14-13 by Cuyahoga Community College.
Lesane also scored another run in Tuesday’s game.
On Wednesday Lesane batted 3-5, slammed a double, scored a run and knocked one in as the Eagles pulled out a 9-8 victory over Cuyahoga.
For the season Lesane, a freshman outfielder, has appeared in 10 games and is batting .308 with 8 hits in 26 at-bats. The Tar Heel native has scored 5 runs, drove in 4, has a slugging percentage of .462 and an on-base percentage of .333.
The Eagles, now 13-9 on the season, travel to Catawba Valley Community College for a double-header Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.
